Hickory was rescued as a lamb in a field. His mother had 5 babies, rejected Hickory and the farmer left him to die. Hickory slept in a playpen in the house of Poplar Springs sanctuary founders for the first few months of his life. He loves affection and appreciates being pet and scratched. He also loves animal crackers.
