Sweet Mickey and Jo were rescued from a park in Yonkers. Both have had their little bills clipped so terribly and Little Jo the female (smaller) had to have her wing amputated; the vet said her injuries were consistent with being kicked or hit on her side. Mickey and Jo have sponsors, whom they are named after: Mickey and Jo, the owners of the Chicago Diner (the famous vegan eatery).
